if the shoe fits…..

hello there and happy Sunday everyone!
this is the first of two posts today- and this one is a card made using the image ‘Mad About Shoes’ from The Paper Shelter- it is the first time I have had a play with one of their images and I’m not sure why it has taken me so long to find them!
a friend and customer of mine also recently brought me a big box full of papers and a few other bits, and I have been busy creating cards out of the goodies she brought me…and some other new bits from Craftie Charlie
so a big thanks to them and to Deborah of Little Roo’s creations
I coloured the super cute image using copics and promarkers, and then inked with Tim Holtz tea stain distress ink. I also used stampendous embossing enamel (frantage) in shabby white and vintage rose, and I then gently distressed the edges.
all the mats are in a pale pink claire fontaine cardstock, and the papers as I said before were recently donated to me!
I also  used some cotton lace that I bought a while ago from a shop that has now sadly stopped trading , chipboard stickers, a bo bunny sentiment stamp from craftie charlie, liquid pearls in white opal, MFT flower dies also from  Craftie Charlie , gold stamens and a sizzix labels die .
all the layers have been inked and distressed and I love the effect!
I would like to enter this card in –
