Steampunk/grunge card with KennyK’s Brianna Blaster 3

Hey everyone, I added a couple of the steampunk and retro style stamps to my collection over the past week from the Kenny K store- I bought Retro Selfie, and Brianna Blaster who I’ve used to make today’s card…

So far, I’ve only managed to colour and make a card with Brianna, but I have some ideas for the retro selfie image, and it shouldn’t be too long before she is on a card too.

It’s been fun getting messy with ink this morning, as a lot of the time I don’t get to grunge up, but I think you’ll agree this makes a cracking masculine card!

I coloured the image with copics, and picked out some suitable papers. some of these i then stamped, and I distressed all the paper edges with a distress tool and distress inks, before laying out and adding some die cut (distress inked and painted) cogs, a vintage key, some trim and some brads I picked up at the Alexandra palace craft show last year.

I stamped the sentiment out and distressed that too- I even inked up the distress stain lid to add some circles on the sentiment and around the image, to further ‘vintageify’ everything.
