Hey there, I just wanted to pop in quickly and show you a last minute card that takes a few minutes to make- for when, if like me, you remember your child has a birthday party to attend in the afternoon, and you haven’t even wrapped the present, let alone got a suitable card hanging around that you can use!
there are an absolute abundance of balloon themed cards on-line for inspiration, and I just wanted to add one more- because not only is this card quick, it is thrifty- this one is almost completely created out of card scraps, and the die I used for the balloons was a magazine freebie!
All you have to do is die cut lots of balloons using your card scraps, attach a string of some sort to the ones where you can see the base
(I actually used fresh mint dental floss for this one, don’t judge!)
add a little double sided tape to the centres, and arrange on the card, snipping any off that go over the edge of the card panel!
as a final touch on the balloons, why not add some shine with a white gel pen?
finish off with a white strip, with your sentiment stamped on it, pop up with double sided tape and you are good to go!
