Hi there everyone, it’s the 16th and I am sharing with you today this fridge magnet, made using one of the digital stamps from the newest collection & character ‘Mary Jane’ over at cherishull.com
this collection is the ‘Mary Jane’ collection, released in conjunction with one of the adult coloring books by Cheri, which was released last month on Amazon.
the other month, surfing through the reduced section at a local store, I found some kodak 6×4″ printable magnets. I immediately snapped up the last two packets, because I thought I could use them for something (or just print some silly pictures on them for our fridge!)
when faced with the challenge of a ‘Green’ creation for this months inspirational make, I decided that I didn’t want to make a card, and instead wanted to step out of my comfort zone, and do something different. I had no idea whether it would work or not, and until it dried I had no idea if the magnet would hold , with extra layers on top!
thankfully it did, and I didn’t have to scrap it, and it means I can share it with you here today.
to start, I printed the background straight onto the magnet which has a glossy finish one side, and the magnet backing the other.
i colored and fussy cut the Mary Jane ‘Ganga Fairy’ digital stamp , and used triple thick to adhere her to the background, and printed and cut out the wording too, and adhered around her.
I then added a coating of triple thick over the top of the entire magnet, to provide a little more protection from spills etc, and laid flat to dry.
and voila- one funky fridge magnet!
