crafters challenge @karleigh sue 13

Good morning / Evening depending on where you are in the world! this post is scheduled, because I’m currently away celebrating my son’s 7th birthday and my 6th wedding anniversary!

There’s a new challenge over on the karleigh Sue blog  today , and I thought I’d join in with the challenge team this month to provide a little inspiration for you all! – the challenge runs all month, so go and check it out!

The theme to follow is your favourite colour or colours- I have used the colour scheme of blue and pink on my vintage style card, because pink and turquoisey blue are two of my very favourite colours.

I decided to challenge myself a little, and I got out the distress inks and watercolour paper for this one- I used distress inks to colour the cute little image (poodle skirt) and I also used it to vintageify the edges of the papers and die cuts.

for a change I added the sentiment to the inside of the card, as I started to run out of room on the front!

Product list

  • 6″ card blank
  • pion design papers
  • digital stamp – karleigh sue poodle skirt
  • flowers- wild orchid crafts
  • white linen cardstock- papermill direct
  • distress ink – peacock feathers, vintage photo, festive berries, pumice stone
  • dies- spellbinders
  • liquid pearls

You can share your handmade crafts with coloured images, and coloured pages over in the facebook group- coloring queen-dom

*but be aware, some of the images shown there are of a risque or sweary nature, so you have to be 18 to join, and not be offended by work of this nature.

you can also find everything Karleigh Sue and Mary Jane over on Cheri’s website– this includes shop, merchandise, and the blog, along with any other info you may need!
