Hi there! today I’ve been getting busy with the mirror frame easel card from Kat’s Card Creations .. a friend needed me to make her a card for her parent’s 30th wedding anniversary, and I just knew this card would be perfect for the job!
I cut this card in a mixture of grey and white cardstock, using the grey for the base layers really made the intricate layer pop from the card!
I’ve also used a whole PILE of Wild orchid crafts flowers to really pretty it up too- one of the recipients is a florist, so the flowers were an extra touch that I really wanted to add… and because 30 years is a ‘pearl’ anniversary, I added some half pearl embellishents in two different sizes and colours.
the butterfly is one from Spellbinders dies in a set called ‘les papillions’ which is one of my favourite spellbinders sets to use.
and even though you can’t see it here, all the intricate swirly areas on the card have a subtle shimmer, because i went over them with a wink of stella brush pen.

and if you have any questions about her designs, or need help, or simply just want to see what everyone is making, she also has a facebook group, which you can find HERE
Happy card making! Rachel
