Hey there everyone! It’s been a really busy month, with lots going on and two small children underfoot! I’ve got a card to show you today made with one of this month’s new releases from Karleigh Sue digital stamps (follow link for the blog) – ‘Tequila’
I had a really fun time doing this clean and simple card- by cutting strips of left over DSP and putting them at an angle, I managed to make this card almost entirely out of scraps! even the beautiful grey cardstock background is a left over piece from a bigger card I made!
It was a happy coincidence as well, that the paper matched my image so perfectly- usually I colour the image and then have to go rooting through boxes of paper to find a match- as I always fail to dig all the papers out first, but his sheet was right on top of my offcuts box, and was perfect for the card!
I coloured the digi in copics, and used some gems from Queen and Co in opposing corners.
the sentiment is stamped using my favourite alpha stamps from lawn fawn too.. I cannot tell you how many cards I’ve used the ‘milo’s abc’ stamps on.. so a very worth while purchase indeed.
I also want to say that we have a new crafters group for karleigh sue digital stamps on facebook, so please come and check it out!
I’d love to enter this card in the following challenges-
