Crafting at Ally Pally and cards featuring some of my new haul!

Hey there! In my last post I talked about the trip I was on, that involved Ally Pally, loads of exhibitors, including some of my favourite companies, and shopping till you drop!

Lily actually achieved this!

I’m glad I took my little stroller, as even though she is technically too big for it , I’d have been lost without it!

She had a great time looking round, and added a couple of things from the  Every Crafts A Pound stand to her own crafting collection!

I had fun looking around too, even though I nearly disabled myself- by lunchtime I was visibly wilting, and rather shaky to boot, but I soldiered on! if I’d been there for both days I’d have a) paced myself, or b) totally died!

the cards I want to share today are made using some of my new haul, and a few things I already had in my collection. I can never resist new stamps, and the cards below use stamps from visible image, and card-io. the first company is one of my favourites, and Card-io is one I was introduced to on Saturday!

this one utilises sequins, distress inks and some fabulous ink sprays, with a little understated sparkle brushed on to the stamped areas afterwards!

on this one, I used distress inks to create the background, added sequins, and popped the sentiment up off the card surface with some 3D foam, to make it extra pretty!

This card is a one layer card, and by using some clever techniques, I created a snowscape with silver birch trees. the snow is fine white glitter, applied in diagonal lines, for a fetching effect!

I think all three sets will be an awesome addition to my ever increasing pile, as the first two sets make awesome teenage girl’s cards, and the third- well, I like a good understated and pretty Christmas card, don’t you?

if any of these have caught your eye, please check out the store tab!
