I love to make cards, and that is no secret! Even though I create a lot of work using my own drawings, I still have favourite stamp artists and stamp sets that I love to make cards with.
Another subject close to my heart is Mental Health- and how it is important to talk about it… and listen when someone asks for your help. I’m trying to do my bit by giving out some smiles- read on to find out how i’m trying to cheer up strangers!
Making this card
I used Some Odd Girl’s ‘all wet cat’ digital stamp and the ‘Blah Blah Blah’ stamp set from Honey Bee stamps to make this card- the sentiments contained in that set are perfect for pick me up and i’m thinking of you style cards.
The sketch to make this card can be found at vlvsketches. They have an awesome range of card making sketches to kick start your creativity!
The image was coloured using the Spectrum Noir Colouring System markers – IG 8,6,4,2 AP1 and CG4
I also stamped a sentiment on the Inner side of the card, and added more paper on the inner flap.
Giving it away!
NOW…. this card is not doing much good to anyone, just sitting on my desk- and I want to reinstate a monthly (ish) giveaway of a card designed to lift someone’s spirits. So this one will be given away to someone one of my facebook page fans has nominated, picked at random ❤️
Keep an eye on my social media for this giveaway, and more like it! It won’t always be facebook, I may well put them up on instagram and twitter too!
